Description
Course provides focused, comprehensive business knowledge training for senior acquisition personnel regarding industry business strategies, financials, operations, portfolio trade-offs, impacts of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as executive level incentives. A wide range of business knowledge competencies are addressed such as company strategy alignment with resources and organization, business finances including use of financial reporting, metrics, and market intelligence, and drivers for mergers, acquisition and divestitures to include both company and customer potential program portfolio impacts. Cases for discussion will be provided involving concepts associated with winning new business. Select company overview topics on Day 3 will include use of big data options for better shaping new business opportunities and competitive positioning and defense company perspectives on government affairs.
